Our History Masters Machine Company first opened its doors in 1957 in an old schoolhouse in the seaside village of Round Pond, Maine. It was founded by George Masters, Sr., a skilled machinist and graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. George and his three employees set out with a goal to supply precision machined products to local companies. Today the company has moved to a more spacious and modern facility in Round Pond. We have expanded our markets throughout the U.S. and beyond, while maintaining relationships with most of our original accounts. Nearly 50 years later the company continues to grow under the leadership of George’s sons: Richard, President, and George, Jr. as Vice President of Manufacturing. Masters' success rests in its commitment to produce superior products through the talents of its most valued resource—its people. Maine people building precision components for a hy-tech world.
