Lobster Measure

When people think of Maine, their thoughts may go to those rugged individuals who make a living harvesting lobster along the rocky coastline. The Maine lobsterman is associated with a good, honest, hardworking way of life. Many do not know these were some of the first "conservationists."

Our logo - the Lobster Measure- is used by fishermen to conserve the lobster population. These devices determine if the lobster is of legal size. The "keepers" are held aside and reserved for your dinner plate while the smaller ones are thrown back. Oversized lobsters are also returned to the ocean to act as breeders to help repopulate the waters.

 The lobster measure is important to Masters, not only for its customer base, but for what it represents. It is a symbol for honesty, integrity, perseverance, and hard work.
