Driver (Part-Time)
Summary:
The Truck & Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting parts regionally to customers, outside vendors, and platers. Also, responsible for picking up raw materials, maintenance supplies, shop chemicals, heat treated pallets. Maintaining a positive relationship with vendors & customers and obeys all traffic & speed limit laws.
Responsibilities:
- Plan delivery/pick-up logistics and load truck accordingly
- Shrink wrap pallets for shipping
- Verify parts and paperwork to be shipped as well as parts being returned from platers
- Ensure that all paperwork for material pack slips returning to MMC is signed and dated and also signed and dated by Shipping & Receiving when taken off the truck
- Assist with snow removal
- Oversee the physical condition of the truck, scheduling maintenance and repair as needed, making repairs yourself when it warrants
- Help service the loading dock plate (grease & lube)
- May also receive general facility assignments when availability permits
- Obeys all traffic and speed limit laws
DOT Requirements:
- Medical certification for Interstate operation
- Compliance and familiarity with documentation (driver’s logs, pre-trip inspection, customer BOL/packing slips/truck log, registration, insurance card, IFTA permit, medical card)
- Understanding of and compliance with HOS regulations and CFRs related to interstate transportation, including proper load securement
General Obligations:
- Be punctual and have a good attendance record. The Production Manager must approve any time off requests in advance
- Work in a safe & orderly manner, promptly reporting personal injuries & unsafe conditions to a Safety Team Member or Production Manager depending on severity of the condition,
- Be concerned for the safety of others and work together improving safety
- Protect & maintain equipment & materials from damage and loss
Qualifications:
- Clean and valid driver's license with no record, citations, or conviction during the 36 consecutive months prior to application date
- Three to Five years related experience and/or training
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug tests
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for several hours and lift or move up to 50lbs. The employee must have the ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing as well as hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of an emergency situation.
Quality Assistant (Full-Time)
Summary:
Responsible for assisting and supporting the Quality Manager and Quality Specialist with developing and analyzing statistical data, product specifications & customer specific requirements. Also assisting the quality control program initiatives designed to ensure continuous production of product consistent with established standards. The Quality Assistant is professional, respectful, courteous & friendly to all customers & suppliers, as well as to fellow employees, Supervisors & Managers at Masters Machine, and reports to the Director of Quality & Engineering.
Requirements:
- Assists with development and analyzing of statistical data and product specifications
- Support with calibration activities
- Support with Workstation Audits
- Support with documentation and administration tasks

Machine Operator - Day Shift (Full-Time)
We have several types of machines that produce quality parts for many customers. We are happy to train anyone interested in starting a career in machining or looking to improve their skills.
Below is a brief summary of our machining departments and machines.
The Horizontal Mills Operator (H-Mills) is responsible for operating the H-Mills CNC machine to produce quality parts for Masters Machine customers, reading and interpreting blueprints, planning sheet, sketches, and other related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and machining methods. The H-Mills Operator follows all established safety guidelines and is responsible for general preventative maintenance and communicating any maintenance needs to the Cell Manager.
The Screw Machine Operator is responsible for setup and operating one or more of the screw machines (Davenport, Wickman or Euroturn) equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanism to perform turning, boring threading & facing operations on metal bar stock, analyzing specifications and deciding on tooling according to knowledge of screw machine operations. Reading and interpreting blueprints for dimensions of parts, tolerance, and plans sequences of operation, selecting cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts & cutting tools to be used based on experience & knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics. The Screw Machine Operator follows all established safety guidelines and is responsible for general preventative maintenance and communicating any maintenance needs to the Production Manager.
The Vertical Mills Operator (V-Mills) is responsible for operating the V-Mills CNC machine to produce quality parts for Masters Machine customers, reading and interpreting blueprints, planning sheet, sketches, and other related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and machining methods.
